Swedish language course
In many ways Swedish is similar to Danish. Most Danes understand Swedish quite well and may also be able to speak some Swedish without a language course. However, a Swedish language course is a good idea for you if you want to be able to speak and write Swedish at a professional level. It is in particular an advantage if you communicate to a large or small extent with Swedish customers or cooperation partners, orally or in writing.

Swedish for Danes
AIM
To get an insight into the basic differences between Danish and Swedish. The following areas are emphasised: numbers, false friends (i.e. words which are similar in Danish and Swedish, but which have different meanings), set phrases in Swedish, and pronunciation. Furthermore, the course focuses on the most important differences between Danish and Swedish mentality.
TARGET GROUP
People who communicate to a large or small extent with Sweden in their job by telephone, e-mail, or in face-to-fact situations (meetings, visits, trips, conferences, etc.).
CONTENT
Understanding and pronunciation. Inclusion of subjects which are topical for each individual course participant. Discussion regarding differences between Danish and Swedish culture and business mentality will be included as a natural part of the course.
